A claim can generally only be backdated by a maximum of 31 days.
Prior to 6 April 2012, the backdating period was 93 days.
Those options give John the right but not the on the date of the grant.
The board formally grants the stock options to John every year at its January board meeting.

Hi I care for my wife and have been getting carers allowance for looking after her ..has been on dla and her claim was due to run out on 17th Jan this year ..claimed pip and sent all the forms off in November and had a decision at the end of dec/begin of Jan that she will get pip ..great ....found out today when checking my bank account that I have not received any carers allowance since the 30th dec ... I have now found out that unless you notify the people that pay carers allowance and tell them you have had a change in circumstances ie get pip now and not dla...
